Everything your family needs to prepare for a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered week at Little Prairie Bible Camp.
Little Prairie Bible Camp is a Christian summer camp associated with the Churches of Christ. On our 60-acre campus near St. James and Rolla, Missouri, campers enjoy Bible lessons, worship, friendships, outdoor activities, crafts, swimming, team games, shared meals, and time surrounded by God's creation.

Select the session that matches your camper's age or grade. Complete all registration, health, emergency-contact, pickup, and payment information.
Talk through camp expectations, the no-phone rule, cabin life, swimming, respectful behavior, and what your camper can do if they need help.
Use your registration confirmation for the exact arrival and pickup times. Overnight check-in is generally between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.; Day Camp differs.
At check-in: Every camper must complete the camp check-in process, receive a cabin assignment, and complete the required head-lice screening. A camper with evidence of head lice cannot remain at camp for that session.
Please label personal items with your camper's name and pack clothing suitable for active, outdoor days.
The camp nurse manages camper medication and provides first aid. If a medical emergency occurs, LPBC will seek appropriate care and notify the parent or guardian as soon as possible. The nearest hospital is Phelps Health in Rolla.
Each session director sets the week's schedule, but campers can expect a full day that balances faith, friendship, activity, and rest.
Morning:
Flagpole, breakfast, chapel, singing, Bible class, and free time
Afternoon:
â€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€ÂLunch, separate boys' and girls' swim times, crafts, canteen, and recreation
Evening:
Dinner, chapel, team activities, canteen, and fireside devotional
Night:
â€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€Ââ€ÂCampers return to their assigned cabins for lights out and rest
Bible classes, chapel, singing, prayer, fireside devotionals, and cabin discussions are central to the camp experience.
Campers receive three meals each day, with canteen offered during scheduled times. Report allergies and dietary needs during registration.
Campers share rustic cabins, keep their space tidy, stay with their assigned group, and help care for the camp.
Campers and Junior Counselors may not keep or use cell phones during camp. Leave phones at home or turn them in to staff at check-in. This helps campers participate fully and build relationships without outside distractions.
Counselors will listen, encourage participation, and help campers work through homesickness. When needed, staff can arrange a parent call; calls are generally limited so campers have the best chance to settle into camp life.

Please review the full Camper & Family Policies with your camper before arrival. Safety concerns and reports of suspected abuse are taken seriously and handled according to applicable reporting requirements.
For camper safety: LPBC will release a camper only to a parent, guardian, or other person authorized through the camper's registration record. Add every approved pickup person before camp begins.
May I Walk my camper to the Cabin?
Yes Parents and guardians may help campers settle in, but personal vehicles are not permitted in the cabin area.
May my camper keep a phone for emergencies?
No. Phones should be left at home or turned in to staff. Camp staff will help arrange communication when necessary.
May family members visit during the session?
All visitors must check in with the session director or designated staff member upon arrival. Contact LPBC in advance before planning a visit.
What happens if my camper cannot pass the swim test?
Your camper may still participate in swim time but must remain in the area approved by the lifeguard. The deep end is limited to campers who pass the swim test.
What if my camper asks to be baptized?
A counselor or director will talk with the camper, study relevant Scripture, and contact the parent or guardian. Parent involvement and permission are strongly encouraged.
What if there is a behavior concern?
Staff will respond according to the circumstances and may use redirection, a warning, separation from an activity, parent contact, or dismissal. Camper safety is always the priority.
