Finance and Fund Raising
Committee
As the chairperson of this committee I have seen a great effort put forth this
year in getting our camp restored to the level that we want and need it to be
for not only the safety of children but the fulfillment of learning more about
the Lord at our facility.
Kaye Peach, our treasurer does a wonderful job in keeping us informed as to the
financial end of things and what our budget can handle. In doing so, this allows
our committee to find ways that we think best to gather the funds that we need
for necessary projects and also emergencies that you always have.
This year our multi purpose building was in dyer need of a new roof and that has
been accomplished. Our swimming pool has needed repaired and restored for
several years also and that is going to be taken care of before this summer
session begins.
Our fund raiser this year again will be the golf tournament which will be on
June the 24th. We always have a good turn out for that and hopefully that will
be the case again this year.
Our prime goal this year is to encourage more and more campers to attend. With
your continued help and the commitment of our board I believe we can have one of
the most educational and fun loving Christian camps ever.
My personal thank you to all that have contributed to our Lord's cause and those
of you that will help us in the future. Whatever it is that you are able to do
either financially, helping on work days or actually participating with camp
sessions, you will be rewarded some day. God bless you all.

Site Maintenance
We are off to a great start in 2006 at Little Prairie Bible Camp. We now
have a new roof system on the Multi Purpose Building. The new roof system cost
$12,000 and has a 10 year guarantee. For the first time in years, there are no
leaks in the Multi! We plan to have the swimming pool completely redone,
including fixing all cracks, plus a new paint job. The cost will be $8,000 with
an 8 year guarantee. For the entry of camp, we are going to move the main
gate in some so it will be safer to open the gate. We will also build and
prepare a nice flower bed on both sides of the road at the entryway. We want
camp to be a beautiful spiritual place. A big thank you to all local
churches, families and individuals who help make the needed improvements for
Little Prairie Bible Camp.
Onward and Upward - the best is yet to be.
